During the six days of the Winter Intensive Course, the students studied the history and techniques of tanka and haiku, as well as the works of renowned poets. They also visited Akashi on a field trip.
Drawing on what they learned during the course and the experiences gained on the field trip, the students composed ”Tanka” inspired by memorable scenes in Akashi and on the Kwansei Gakuin University Uegahara Campus.
This collection is filled with the students’ unique sensibilities.
